Formed in 2009, Away With The Faeries are Folk/Rock band based in London.

Their music is ethereal, humorous, occasionally sardonic, and always entertaining. Live shows are full of personality, energy... and cowbells. Indeed, it has been said that Away With The Faeries are a band with both heart and humour.

They have earned such a great reputation that they have already graced top venues including The Jazz Cafe and 100 Club, are a regular support for Brit legends, The Blockheads and joined them on their 35th Anniversary tour, they have collaborated with the psychedelic folk band Spirogyra and appeared at the Great British Folk Festival (sharing the bill with Donovan).

"So it is possible to be two fingers up and absolutely delightful at the same time. Away with the Faeries are torch bearers for this concept: dancing to their own drum, not giving two hoots, and having an absolute ball doing it”  David McAlmont

“They have appeared to have invented the genre lounge folk pop, lovely stuff”  Phill Jupitus

"Enticingly Quirky"  It's All Happening

"If I was an A&R man I'd sign them"  Chaz Jankel (The Blockheads)

"Fabulous Folk"  Canterbury Festival

"Natural Phrasing and creamy voices, an extremely welcome arrival at the vocal ball"  Tony Hinnigan (Michael Nyman Band, Enio Morricone)
